The IRISA laboratory, in partnership with the Inria centre at the University of Rennes and ENS Rennes, is organising the 2024 edition of the Sport Physics conference, to be held in Rennes (France) from 03 to 05 December 2024

The main objective of the Sports Physics conferences, which take place every Summer Olympic years since 2012, is to mix physics, mechanics, biomechanics, mathematics, computer sciences, data sciences and physiology to propose practical solutions to problems identified on field by coaches, medical teams and athletes. The attendees of the conference have different origins from fundamental and applied researchers to sport scientists, athletes and coaches in order to promote exchanges and collaborations. Since 2024 is special for France, this edition will also be dedicated to the evaluation of the scientific impact of science in the Olympic results. All the research conducted with a link to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games are thus welcome!

- July 16^th 2024: Registration opens

- September 30^th 2024: Submissions deadline

- October 15^th 2024: Notification of acceptance

- November 15^th 2024: Regular Registration Period Ends

- December 3^th-5^th 2024: Rennes hosts Sports Physics 2024
